So today I had the opportunity to interview with the SUN newspaper to discuss events going on in Edmonton on this superstitious day. I told them all about the Dead Jesus show at the Pawn Shop and mentioned the recent bad news for The Order Of Chaos losing all their equipment in the fire in their jam space and plugged their upcoming benifit show at the Mead Hall. I got to plug Indi Rock City and I am excited to see what they write in the paper tomorrow!
They called me on a longshot because of my big 666 show a few years ago at the Sidetrack where I used the infamous numbered day (also my birthday) to publicize for my bands/event. This being another wicked day they were looking to me for a story.
At the same time I was talking to Ryan from my favourite metal band from Winnipeg online and they need a show booked for them in E town...so I am on the case!
After a brief break from the biz I am back again, full force and happier than ever to be living, breathing, tasting, and touching the music!
